Answer by Chris N
1) Departmentalization – (Addresses functional administration including policy, planning, resource allocation and performance measurement in a centralized organization.) Has day-to-day impact on who does what, when and how.

2) Matrix Organization – (Addresses policy, planning and resource allocation and performance measurement according to function, across divisions of a decentralized organization.) Has little day-to-day impact, more in planning to ensure effective use of functional resources including finding synergies and eliminating duplication.

3) The Project Team – (Addresses project planning, performance measurement and project implementation.) Day-to-day effect is increased co-ordination and collaboration among contributors to the project.

4) The Collegial Model – (This is less of a management structure than a leadership style in which participation is encouraged in decision making which tends to be by consensus.) Day-to-day effect is that decisions comprehend multiple perspectives but may take longer than some would wish.
